Shared Agent Vault / 6 guides
The Shared Agent Vault build
Install Obsidian, prepare the memory bridge and connect Codex, Claude Code and Pi to the same source-linked evidence.
What you’ll build
Resume work from evidence you can inspect.
Keep an archive outside individual agent sessions, retrieve focused excerpts and verify that another agent can find the same source. Start locally with hosted judging disabled.
- Platform
- macOS walkthrough · Python 3.12 · SQLite FTS5
- Source access
- Authorised obsidian-master checkout required; no public installer
- Agents
- Existing Codex, Claude Code or Pi installation
- Hosted AI
- Optional Jev judging; not needed for local retrieval
6 lessons, in order
- 01
Installation guide: start with Obsidian
Create a readable home for the evidence your agents need to recover earlier work.
- 02
Install the bridge and test local retrieval
Prepare Python, build the search index and create a paused intake configuration.
- 03
Connect Codex to the shared vault
Give Codex a focused retrieval instruction and verify its transcript capture separately.
- 04
Connect Claude Code to the same evidence
Add the retrieval instruction, enable the Claude transcript adapter and check the result.
- 05
Connect Pi without changing its native sessions
Use the same retrieval command through Pi and preserve its source attribution.
- 06
Schedule capture, review judgments and test recovery
Keep the bridge running, understand its privacy boundaries and verify a usable backup.
