The reason
Your music should be easy to enjoy.
I spent years digitising my CDs and vinyl. Beets kept the collection organised, but I wanted a listening interface I could open on my desktop and use with my speakers.
Vynl brings that collection into one player. The files stay on my server, with my playlists and a way to listen when I am away from home.

Keep the library organised
Use Beets for imports and tags. BeetsAI Doctor can propose metadata fixes for review before applying them.

Find an artist, choose an album
Browse by artist instead of relying on a streaming service to choose what comes next.

Play on Sonos
Control playback on your network. Speakers fetch audio from Vynl, so they need a reachable server address.

Bring your playlists
Match Spotify playlist information to your local tracks. Missing songs go into a wishlist, not an audio download.

Choose where AI runs
Connect a local model or a cloud provider for supported AI tasks. AI DJ and party workflows remain in development.
