Why Engram?

Finding the right document is useful. A decision also needs relationships, time and consequences.

The reason

Finding a document is only the start of a decision.

Useful knowledge includes where a fact came from, when it was true and what it relates to. A search result alone does not preserve that context.

Engram combines retrieval with relationships and temporal records. Domain workflows can use that knowledge to prepare proposals for human review. The general Decision Engine is still in development.

From information to a decision case

A useful proposal identifies an action, why it might help, which constraints apply and which questions are still open. Domain rules and calculations can assess quantities and costs; focused model judgments help with bounded questions.

The supply-chain pilot demonstrates specialist council findings and a decision ledger. The general Decision Engine and a complete decision-to-outcome feedback loop remain under development.

Choose a decision worth modelling

Start with a recurring question whose inputs and outcomes can be reviewed. Identify the relevant sources and what your team considers a good decision before connecting every available system.

Compare the complete workflow with your current tools, including any custom agents or integrations. The distinction is the knowledge and decision process delivered for your domain, rather than a claim that other tools cannot retrieve company data.
