Product guides / 3 guides

xNaut

From a personal CLI for snippets and cloud deployments to a workspace for developing with agents. Follow the story, then the workflow.

Start with the problem, follow the workflow, then examine the technical choices. Read in order or jump to the guide you need.

01

The birth of xNaut

xNaut began more than eighteen months ago as a personal CLI for code snippets and DevOps work. AI came later, as the workspace grew around the tasks I needed it to do.

02

What is xNaut and who is it for?

xNaut combines a terminal workspace with tools for planning and building software. NautFlow guides the development stages, while agent workflows connect tickets to implementation, testing and human review.

03

Beneath the bonnet: sessions, worktrees and proof

How xNaut keeps tasks separate, runs code on another machine and brings the results back for review.
